Program

1st Day:
This safari starts from your Resort in Watamu or Malindi, departing by jeep at 8.30 towards Tsavo East National Park.
You will arrive at the entrance of the Park at Sala Gate after about 2 hours of asphalt road and breathtaking views.
Once we arrive at the Gate and complete the entry formalities, we will enter the Park.
From the beginning you will be able to see many wild animals in their natural habitat such as elephants, zebras, antelopes, etc…
We will travel along the Galana River (one of the three largest rivers in Kenya) towards the Aruba Ashnil Lodge (where you will stay the first night of the safari).
On the way we will stop at Hippo Point to see the hippos up close. (The source of this river is the plateau in the south-eastern part of Kenya and flows through the national park and into the Indian Ocean. During a visit to the Galana River, you can also see hippos while exploring the beauty of Tsavo East National Park) and Lugard Falls for a beautiful view (This attraction features rock patterns of cooled lava. The falls are named after Lord Fredrick Lugard as he passed through the region. The rapids were formed as a result of the interruption of the river flow by channels and sculpted rocks. At the bottom of the falls, wild species of buffalo, hippos and crocodiles can be seen in the pool formed at the bottom of the falls).
Arrive at Aruba Ashnil Lodge for lunch time where you will check in with room assignments, lunch and a bit of relax.
While waiting for the afternoon Game Driver you can enjoy relax in the magnificent swimming pool, overlooking the savannah, available to guests. In the afternoon, until sunset, the sunset over the plains of Tsavo is an exciting sight to see, for the Game Driver in search of wild animals that live in the National Park, including felines.
Finally, return to the lodge for an aperitif, dinner and overnight stay.
2nd Day:
A delicious breakfast will introduce you to a new day in the savannah, at the end check-out and, crossing the Park, depart towards the exit of the Tsavo East National Park at the Voi Gate.
Once out, continue towards the Zwani Private Reserve and the Vojager Zwani Camp.
Estimated arrival at the Vojager Zwani Camp for lunch time where you will check in with the allocation of lunch and relaxation tents.
In the afternoon, walking safari in the reserve, accompanied by rangers, to discover this small but splendid nature reserve located in the heart of the Tsavo West National Park.
Return to camp to enjoy some relaxation and prepare for dinner.
After dinner … Night Game Drive always accompanied by rangers, in this case in a jeep, you will discover the savannah that never sleeps and the nocturnal animals that populate it.
Return to camp for overnight stay.
3rd Day:
Another night in the savannah has passed and your African adventure continues!
Today you will proceed with another of the incredible African parks … the Amboseli Reserve, crossing the Tsavo West National Park, during the journey you will stop in Mzima Springs, where you will take a walking safari, one of the most famous naturalistic attractions of Tsavo West thanks to its resident populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles.
Mzima’s isolation makes both species dependent on its waters: other sources are too distant to be reached by land.
Hippos also support an entire food chain.
At night they explore the surrounding savannah and during the day they return to the Mzima pools, where their dung fertilizes the water.
Fruit trees such as date and raffia palms, water berries and figs grow next to water, using their submerged roots to absorb nutrients.
Their fruits are a food source for vervet monkeys and a variety of birds.
Below the water’s surface, invertebrates that feed on hippopotamus dung are preyed upon by fish and cormorants.
At the end of your visit, continuing through Tsavo West National Park you will cross Shetani Lava Flow, the Shetani lava flows are said to have formed around 500 years ago when locals first saw the “fire” erupting and “flow” on the ground and believed that it was the devil himself emerging from the earth, hence the name Shetani lava flow “came into existence”, continuing you will arrive at the Kibo Safari Camp by lunch time.
Check-in with room assignment, lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, excursion to discover all the beauty of the Amboseli Reserve, returning to the camp around sunset, if you are lucky, you will be able to admire the sunset on the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight stay.
4th Day:
Wake up early and have breakfast, check out and depart towards the city of Voi and the Ngutuni Private Reserve, game drive in the Reserve until lunchtime, where you will arrive at the Ngutuni Safari Lodge where lunch is planned.
After lunch, new game drive through the Reserve, to continue the return to Watamu or Malindi, through a panoramic road that passes through typical Kenyan villages until you arrive back at your Resort.
Arrival expected in the late evening, in time to take a shower and get ready for dinner.

This safari, with a variation in the itinerary chronology, can start from Mombasa or Nairobi even before your beach stay in your Resort.
