SAFARI IN THE NORTH PARKS

FIRST DAY OF SAFARI
Departure, after breakfast from Nairobi, towards the National Park of Mount Kenya, aboard a 4×4 jeep in a mixed route of 178km and for about 4 hours of travel.
Expected arrival at Misty Mountain Lodge (★★★★) by lunchtime.
In the afternoon visit to the Mount Kenya National Park, we will enter from Mount Kenya Naro Moru Park Gate, to discover the animals that live there, volcanic sediments on the surrounding soil, combined with the large amount of fresh water that descends from the slopes of the mountain, make the area particularly favorable to agriculture. At a lower altitude, the most common animals on the trees are colobus and other monkeys, while on the ground, in addition to elephants, there are numerous ilocheri and buffaloes, while the mountain bongo is very rare.
At sunset we will then return to the Lodge for a hot shower and an aperitif before dinner.

SECOND DAY OF SAFARI
Departure, after a hearty breakfast, towards Aberdare National Park, always aboard a 4×4 jeep in a mixed route of 70Km and for about 1.30h of travel. Expected arrival at The ARK Lodge (★★★★) in the morning.
Check in, accommodation in the rooms and waiting for lunch, stay at the beautiful sight of the Lodge where you can admire the splendid specimens of Elephants at the watering point.
In the afternoon visit to the Aberdare National Park, we will enter from the Wandare Gate Aberdare National Park in search of the animals that live there. The Park is home to a very rich fauna including over 200 species of birds and from 50 to 60 species of mammals, among the mammals present in the park there are a series of threatened species including the black rhino, the hilochero, the potamochero porcus, the African golden cat, the bongo, the African elephant and the colobus, among the small endemic mammals of the region must be mentioned Surdisorex norae and Tachyoryctes audax, both considered vulnerable species.
At sunset, return to the Lodge for a hot shower and an aperitif before dinner.

THIRD DAY OF SAFARI
Departure, after a hearty breakfast, towards Lake Bogoria, always aboard our 4×4 jeep in a mixed route of 250Km and for about 5h of travel. Arrival at Lake Bogoria Spa Resort (★★★★) in the morning.
Check in, accommodation in the rooms and lunch.
In the afternoon visit to Lake Bogoria, to admire the splendid Natural Geysers and the flora / fauna that live there. It is a saline and alkaline lake found in a volcanic region in a semi-granite basin south of Lake Baringo, just north of the equator, as Lake Nakuru is sometimes home to one of the largest populations of lesser flamingos in the world. The lake is also famous for the geysers and hot springs along the shore and in the lake itself.
In four locations around the lake, at least 10 geysers can be observed, erupting up to 5 m high.
Geyser activity is affected by lake level fluctuations, which can periodically flood or expose some geysers.
At sunset, return to the Lodge for a hot shower, an aperitif and dinner.

FOURTH DAY OF SAFARI
Departure in the morning after a hearty breakfast, for another visit to the park in the direction of Nairobi, aboard our 4×4 jeep in a mixed route of 290Km and for about 6h of travel.
During the trip we will stop for lunch in a typical restaurant.
Expected arrival in Nairobi in the afternoon.
